Project Manager
Primary Function
Responsible for managing multiple projects and overseeing all aspects of a project from commencement to completion. Directly responsible for the management and coordination between Auburn Electric and General Contractors, Subcontractors, Vendors, Architect/Engineers, Owner’s Representatives, and Auburn Electric Field Supervision. Understands and complies with contract documents, budgets, safety, and legal requirements. Directly contributes to the success of the company by effectively and efficiently managing the electrical project so that it is completed on time and within budget.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Commands the respect of his workforce and develops excellent working relationship with the General Contractor and all trades on the project.
- Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office software, Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and competent with technology.
- Supervises the onsite project manager, superintendent/foreman on electrical projects assigned to his/her responsibility. The duty is primarily managerial.
- Motivates team members to achieve project goals.
- Must be a good communicator. Able to give instruction clearly and persuasively to his team members. Capable of representing company interest effectively and professionally in all project meetings. Has to initiate and respond to all written correspondence in a clear and concise manner that accurately conveys thoughts, intentions and objectives.
- Perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, projecting project cash flow, determining the cost to complete, preparing reports, negotiating large purchases and subcontracts, maintaining accurate job cost, and preparing and timely submittal of pay request.
- Specific duties assigned but not limited to:
- Along with Estimating and Management, reviews contract for scope, project requirements, and terms & conditions.
- Participates in pre-construction to insure handoff from estimating to field.
- Develops labor phase breakdown.
- Develops Schedule of Values.
- Reviews all submittal, purchase orders, and subcontracts.
- Manages, coordinates and communicates with all subcontractors of Auburn Electric.
- Estimate and propose all change orders.
- Generates “Request for Information” for clarification of project documents.
- Visits project sites and attends jobsite meetings.
- Communicates all approved changes and RFI’s to the field.
- Negotiates and resolves all customer concerns.
- Conducts 50% project review meeting.
- Conducts post-con review meeting to determine areas for future improvement.
- Whatever it takes to make the project successful.
- Assist in the development of the overall electrical project schedule. Responsible for the execution of the schedule and assisting field supervision with the short term three week look ahead.
- Is ultimately responsible for the performance of each project assigned and is the direct supervisor of each project team.
- Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to project specifications, the NEC, and company quality requirements.

Electrical Superintendent
Primary Function
Oversees all aspects of the planning, implementation, and completion of an electrical project. He is responsible for developing and enforcing budgets, schedules, and production levels to achieve the overall customer requirement. Has to interact on a professional level with all customer representatives, contractors and management assigned to a construction project. Must complete project profitably and provide a positive experience in customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsilities
- Maintains compliance with all OSHA, AECCI safety policy, customer safety requirements, company policies and enforces them with the workforce under his/her responsibility.
- Immediately identifies, corrects, and/or reports any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents.
- Maintains current OSHA 30-hour training and CPR certificates.
- Possesses an active state journeyperson’s license.
- Has successfully completed projects in excess of $2 million and/or supervised 20 or more team members.
- Commands the respect of his workforce and develops excellent working relationship with the Owner, General Contractor, and all trades on the project.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook, Bluebeam, and competent with technology.
- Plans, directs and controls the operations of foreman, material managers, and field staff on multimillion dollar electrical projects. The duty is primarily managerial.
- Directs team members to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code and Project Documents. Responsible for scheduling work, maintaining materials, and coordinating with other trades to accomplish goals and objectives set forth by the Project Schedule.
- Ensures that work crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment, and materials. Prevents waste and misuse of tools, equipment, and materials. Supervises work crews to best utilize manpower and materials, exercises discipline at the work site to prevent absenteeism, unsafe work practices and idleness.

Project Engineer
SUMMARY
Responsible for working closely with Project Coordinator and Managers as well as field staff identifying needs and proactively working to solve day to day project issues. This person serves as a liaison between the project managers and the technical disciplines involved in the creation and the completion of projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
